Pensé Productions and Academy-Award winning screenwriter Ron Bass have developed an aspirational one-hour television drama series conceived as The West Wing in the Vatican.

L’appartamento was created by thinktank director, economist, and catholic priest Rev. Robert Sirico, and is being written by Bass, one of the most prolific and influential screenwriters in Hollywood history. Bass wrote the screenplay for the Tom Cruise/Dustin Hoffman box office smash Rain Man, for which he won an Oscar, and the Julia Roberts films My Best Friend’s Wedding and Stepmom. Bass is also known for his work as a "script doctor" on dozens of films, including Memoirs of a Geisha and Soul Surfer. Bass is repped by ICM.

Pensé Productions, Father Sirico, and Ron Bass will pitch L’appartamento to broadcast, cable, and internet networks.
