Arthur Hair - Chief Technologies Officer
Arthur Hair is responsible for technological innovation in support of the creative process. Mr. Hair was the Chief Technology Officer of the Walt Disney Studios from 2006 through 2009 where he was responsible for the studio's transformation to ﬁle-based technologies in feature film production and distribution. He led Disney research projects driving new technologies out of the lab and into operational adoption in production, post-production, theatrical exhibition & home entertainment to support the Studio’s motion picture business.
Mr. Hair has a clear vision of the requirements and pressures of the transition from traditional television distribution to “over the top” networks such as Netflix and Hulu. A graduate of Purdue University, Mr. Hair has received over 50 patents in the fields of audio and video eCommerce; audio and video compression; applied encryption; and trusted peer-to-peer networks.
