Year of Our Lord

During the shooting of the documentary 'Only God Could Hear Me', I traveled to Mississippi to visit minspeak user Lucas McCarty. TR Pearson served as my pseudo-tour guide for the trip, he having just spent a previous year exploring the delta region, and spending time with Lucas. TR collaborated with photographer Langdon Clay,and authored a book titled 'Year of Our Lord'. He requested I cut something together from the trip's footage to help promote its release. This is the piece I made for him and his publisher.
